In May 2016 I was selected as one of six artists in the East Midlands to be part in a new project, DOCUMENT, organised and supported by Contemporary Visual Arts Network East Midlands (CVAN EM). DOCUMENT is a two year project, which tracks and presents the everyday life of an artist, providing an insight into visual arts practice in this region.
The project aims to shine a light onto our creative processes that will reflect on our art practices and our experiences of pursuing a career in the visual arts. During the two years, our work will be presented to regional and national audiences and our thoughts will be captured to create a narrative for the project.
CVAN-EM have appointed Leicester-based Bill Newsinger as the project filmmaker, and as such he will be capturing images and audio to integrate within a set of films.
